Man gets morphsuit to be invisible during video calls - but it doesn't work as he hoped

During the pandemic, working from home has meant we have found ourselves on endless Zoom calls.

And when the kitchen or the living room becomes your office, those you live with can accidentally become the star of your video meeting when they only wanted a cuppa.

One man thought he'd managed to find a solution to this problem and make himself "invisible" when his fiancée was on Zoom.

But his great idea didn't exactly go to plan.

In a post on TikTok, a user named @tailoredbits, revealed that he'd purchased a green morphsuit to wear in the background of his partner's video calls.

He can be seen in one video putting on the outfit and walking behind his fiancée while she's talking business on camera.

The man can mostly still be seen, walking sheepishly, while holding a mug in one hand.

Only certain parts blurred to look "invisible".

His partner somehow manages to carry on talking while witnessing his hilarious fail like a complete pro.

The video was captioned: "Flawless execution."

It has since gone viral, being watched more than 30 million times and garnering over six million likes.

Thousands of people also took the time to comment on the clip, with one person saying: "It gets funnier each time I watch."

Someone else replied: "Lmaooo that's even more distracting."

"Don't be suspicious, don't be suspicious," joked a third.

Another user posted: "The way she kept her composure makes me think she's used to this sort of thing."

"Nobody's gonna know," joked a different person.

A sixth added: "I'M DYING THIS IS TOO FUNNY!"

"At least you tried," commiserated a seventh.
