Man found under a subway with two broken ankles

A 19 year old man was found under a subway with two broken ankles and head injuries.

Lancashire Police were called to a subway on Brierfield, Skelmersdale, at 12.10pm on Thursday, September 9, after a man was found with serious injuries.

The 19-year-old was found with head injuries and two broken ankles.

Police believe the man may have been injured in a crash involving a motorbike but said it is unclear at this stage exactly what has happened.

The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

An investigation has been launched by Lancashire Police and enquires are ongoing.

A spokesperson from the force said: "We are now appealing for anyone who either witnessed the incident or was in the area beforehand to get in touch as they may have information that can help with our enquires.

"Anyone with information is also asked to contact 101 quoting log number 0631 of today’s date. Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111."
