Man found unconscious in Belfast city centre dies in hospital

A man who was found unconscious in Belfast city centre on Saturday afternoon has passed away.

Police say they received a report of an unconscious man at a premises in the Cornmarket area of the city on Saturday, November 16.

Emergency Services were tasked to the scene and the man was taken to hospital but he later passed away.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received a report of an unconscious man at premises in the Cornmarket area of Belfast on Saturday 16th November. He was taken to hospital, where he subsequently passed away.

"A post mortem is due to take place to determine the cause of death. The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
