A man was found shot to death Monday evening in Canaryville on the South Side.
About 7 p.m. the man was found unresponsive on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds in the 4600 block of South Emerald Avenue, Chicago police said.
The man, believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
He has not yet been identified.
There was no one in custody.
