Man found seriously injured on Scots street as police launch probe

A man was found seriously injured on a Scots street sparking a police investigation.

Officers were called to reports of a 37-year-old injured in Shuttle Street, Paisley, at around 11.50pm on Friday July 30.

The street is a short lane lined with pubs, bars and food spots.

He was rushed to nearby Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Police are yet to confirm his current medical condition.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not known and an investigation is now underway.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.

A spokeswoman from the force told the Record "We received a report of a 37-year-old man found seriously injured in Shuttle Street, Paisley, at around 11.50pm on Friday, July 30.

"Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.

"Officers attended and he was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 4331 of July 30."
