Man found injured in Glasgow city centre's Dixon Street

Police have cordoned off an area of Glasgow city centre after a man was found injured.

Emergency services raced to the scene on Dixon Street earlier this afternoon after a report of a disturbance.

The 22-year-old man was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed to Glasgow Live : "A report was received of a disturbance on Dixon Street in Glasgow shortly before 2.45pm on Tuesday, 23 June.

"A 22-year-old man was found injured and has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

"Enquiries are ongoing and at an early stage. Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1869 of 23 June or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
