- Mohammed Durnion was found guilty of manslaughter but cleared of murder in the death of mother-of-two Reanne Coulson at Warwick Crown Court.
- Ms Coulson, 34, went missing in May 2025, and her body was later discovered in a shallow grave in Binley Woods, near Coventry, in late June.
- Jurors heard Durnion, 42, used petrol to set part of Ms Coulson’s body on fire, with Durnion claiming she died from a drug overdose before he panicked.
- Durnion's friend, Adam Moore, 39, was also convicted of assisting an offender for helping to dispose of Ms Coulson’s body.
- West Midlands Police conducted a review after an initial search of Durnion's flat failed to locate Ms Coulson's body, with Durnion later leading officers to the grave.
