A man was found shot to death Tuesday night in East Garfield Park.
About 9:35 p.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 3300 block of West Maypole Avenue and found the 47-year-old man unresponsive on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds throughout his body, Chicago police said.
The man was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
He was identified as Edward Glen, Edgewater, by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
