JAIPUR: A 45-year-old labourer working at a tile manufacturing company was found dead outside his house in Vivek Vihar under Karni Vihar police station area. Police identified the deceased as Fenkan Mandal, a native of Samastipur in Bihar. DCP (West) Richa Tomar told TOI that police were investigating the case to examine to find out the cause of death. “We are waiting for the post-mortem report to determine the reasons for his death,” she said.
According to police, Mandal’s wife had gone to the market while his two kids were in school. He was alone in the house and is suspected to have cut himself with a kitchen knife. He came out of his rented room and lay in a pool of blood. ACP (Vaishali Nagar) Alok Saini said prima facie death could be due to suicide. Police, however, said they were waiting for the medical report to corroborate what exactly had transpired. tnn
