A 42-year-old man was found dead at a Scots street last night as emergency services locked down the scene.
Police officers raced to Broad Street, Peterhead, around 8.25pm on Thursday evening after a man was discovered dead.
Reports indicate he was found outside the Bailey's pub, however this is as of yet unconfirmed.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.25pm on Thursday, 12 August, officers were called to the death of a 42-year-old man on Broad Street, Peterhead.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.”
