A man has tragically been found dead in Glasgow city centre this afternoon.
At around 2.30pm police were called to Hope Street after a man was discovered unconscious.
Emergency services raced to the scene but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene. A section of the street, near Sauchiehall Street, remains taped off by officers.
Police say there's not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.30pm police were called to a report of a man found unconscious in Hope Street, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death at this time and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
