The body of a man has been found in a camper van in an Edinburgh housing estate.
Officers made the grim find after attending the secluded car park area in Ferry Road Drive, on the north side of the city, on Tuesday afternoon.
The area in Pilton has been sealed off and officers are standing guard while an investigation is ongoing.
The death is currently being treated as “unexplained”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a man’s body being found around 4pm on Tuesday, 24 March, in a camper van in Ferry Road Drive.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and it is currently being treated as unexplained.”
