Police have confirmed that a man has been found dead in a wooded area of Kilmarnock.
A huge emergency response was sent to an area near Bellfield Interchange in the town at around 7.20pm last night.
Last night we told you that multiple police vehicles and an ambulance could be seen near the busy Ayrshire road.
Officers confirmed today that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 7.20pm on Saturday, April 24 police received a report a man had died within a wooded area near the Bellfield Interchange, Kilmarnock.
"A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course, however, there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
