Man found dead in Liverpool home

A man has been found dead at a house in Liverpool.

Merseyside Police confirmed a 77-year-old man's body was found at a home in Everton.

The man was today named as Peter Carter.

He was found dead on Thursday, August 5 at his home on White Rock Street.

Police have ruled out the 77-year-old's death being suspicious but have shared an appeal to trace his relatives.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "Please share and help Liverpool Coroner's Office find the next of kin for Everton man Peter Carter, who recently passed away.

"Anyone with information should contact Elaine Jordan on (0151) 351 0036 or email Elaine.Jordan@liverpool.gov.uk."
