Man found dead in Leeds house and police don't know where his family are

An appeal has been launched to find the family of a man who was found dead at his home in Leeds.

Robert Stinson, 67, was found at his house in Horsforth on April 15 but his family cannot be found.

Now, West Yorkshire Police and the Coroner's office are appealing for help to find Mr Stinson's relatives.

His death is not being treated as suspicious, they confirmed in a statement made today, May 5.

It is understood Mr Stinson was originally from Glasgow.

In the statement, a police spokesman said: "Coroner's Officers are appealing for information to trace the relatives of Robert Stinson.

"Mr Stinson aged 67yrs, died on the April 15, 2020, at his home address in Horsforth, Leeds.

"His death is not being treated as suspicious. It is believed he is originally from Glasgow." 

Anyone with information about family members should contact Coroner's Officer Robert Wright on 01924 292301.
