Man found dead in house named as police issue plea

An appeal has gone out after a man was found dead at his home.

Ali Martin Mohammed, aged 62, sadly died at home in Southport on Sunday, 16 August.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

A police spokesperson said: "Sefton Coroner's Office is appealing for the public's help in tracing the next of kin of a man who recently died in Southport.

"Ali Martin Mohammed, aged 62, sadly died at home on Sunday, 16 August.

"His death is not being treated as suspicious."

Anyone with information to help trace his next of kin is asked to contact Coroner's Officer Alby Howard-Murphy on 0151 777 3481 or Sefton.Coroners.Officer@merseyside.police.uk.
