Man found dead in Glasgow scheme as cops probe sudden death

A man has been found dead at a property in a Glasgow scheme.

Officers from Police Scotland swooped on Dundasvale Court in the Cowcaddens area of the city shortly after 9pm last night.

They found the body of the 69-year-old whose death is not thought to be suspicious.

Shocked residents took to social media as police officers were spotted in the area.

One posted on Facebook: "I live here it looks bad there's forensics all over."

Police confirmed a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers received report of the sudden death of a 69-year-old man at Dundasvale Court in Glasgow around 9.05pm on Sunday, 27 December, 2020.

"There is not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
