An investigation has been launched after a 57-year-old man was found dead inside an Edinburgh flat.
Police were called to a property at Muirhouse Park in the north of the city around 4pm today, January 12.
The cause of the man’s death is unknown at this time however enquiries are ongoing.
Our sister title Edinburgh Live reports that there was a large police presence in the area, with parts of the street cordoned off.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told Edinburgh Live: “Around 4pm on Tuesday, 12 January, a 57 year-old man was found dead within a flat in Muirhouse Park, Edinburgh.
"Officers are currently at the scene carrying out enquiries.”
