Man found dead in building in Glasgow's Argyle Street as police launch probe

A body find in Glasgow has sparked a police probe

The man, 51, was found dead inside a building in Argyle Street, in the city centre.

The alarm was raised at around 5.20pm on Tuesday, January 26.

Police are treating his death as sudden and an investigation is underway.

Enquiries are ongoing but police do not believe investigations are suspicious.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesman told the Record: "We were called around 5.20pm, following the sudden death of an 51-year-old man at an address on Argyle Street, Glasgow.

"Enquiries into the death are ongoing.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
