NT Police are calling for witnesses following the suspicious death of a man in Alice Springs overnight.
The man was found with fatal injuries in a Larapinta unit, after police were called to the scene just before 10:00pm.
A 39-year-old woman is currently assisting officers with their enquiries, however, police are calling for any witnesses in the area to contact them.
"At this stage we are still in the initial stages of an investigation, however, anyone who may have heard or see anything prior to this incident in the area is urged to contact police," Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Leith Phillips said.
There are no further details available at this stage.
The investigation is ongoing.
It is the first suspicious death in Alice Springs since a woman was allegedly stabbed multiple times in a town camp on April 25.
