Man found dead at work on business park

A dad was found dead at his workplace in the middle of the night by his heartbroken dad.

Andrew Cureton was discovered by his parent at an engineering unit on the Knowsley Business Park in Prescot.

The 46-year-old was found at about 5am on October 19, Sefton Coroner's Court at Bootle Town Hall was told.

Albert Howard Murphy, a coroner's officer at Bootle Town Hall, told the hearing there were no signs of forced entry to the business premises, and police confirmed no suspicious circumstances connected to the death.

Toxicology tests were carried out after the incident which showed how alcohol or drug ingestion had not played any part, the inquest heard.
