A man was found dead in a Liverpool city centre hotel room.
Police and paramedics attended the scene at around 10am this morning after the man was found in a Travelodge hotel room, at Old Haymarket in the city centre.
Sadly the man was pronounced dead a short time later, on Sunday, June 6.
Police have said that the circumstances surrounding his deaths are not believed to be suspicious.
Enquiries are ongoing to inform the man's next of kin.
A Merseyside police spokeperson said : "We can confirm that emergency services have been in Liverpool City Centre following the death of a man this morning, Sunday 6 June.
"At around 10am, the ambulance service informed officers of a man being found in a room at the Travelodge, Old Haymarket. He was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
"Enquiries are ongoing to inform the man’s next of kin. The circumstances are not believed to be suspicious."
