A man's body was discovered after police were called to a home in Wigan.
Officers received a report of concern for the welfare of a man at a property, in Vulcan Road, Marsh Green, at about 10am on Friday (February 26).
Emergency services attended and found the body of a man in his 50s.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, say Greater Manchester Police.
A file is set to be passed to the coroner.
A spokesperson for GMP said: "Shortly after 10am on Friday 26 February 2021, police were called to reports of concern for the welfare of a man in a property on Vulcan Road, Marsh Green.
"Officers attended and sadly found the body of a man in his 50s.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be passed to the corner."
