A man has been found dead in a house in Braintree, Essex, after neighbours reported a strong chemical smell.
Police and ambulance crews were the first to arrive at the house on Sunday night, but had to wait for Essex Fire and Rescue workers, who entered wearing breathing gear.
The body of a man in his 20s was found in the house in Tideswell Close.
An Essex police spokeswoman said an investigation was under way but the incident was not being regarded as suspicious. The man’s name has not yet been released.
