Teenager found after going missing for eight years 'was kept as sex slave by mum'

A man who was found after going missing for eight years says his mum sexually abused him and made him "play daddy", a community activist has claimed.

Rudy Farias, 25, went for a dog walk in 2015 but was reported missing by his mum Janie Santana after his pets returned home without him.

However, on June 29, in the doorway of a church in Houston, Texas, Rudy was found after eight years in an extremely poor physical state and was left unconscious.

Ms Santana, who regularly posts on true crime Facebook groups, revealed her son was unable to speak due to the traumatic ordeal.

But on Wednesday, the mum and son spoke to officers at a Houston hotel with a meditator, local New Black Panther leader and community activist Quanell X.

The meditator revealed Rudy told her he was allegedly sexually abused and hidden by his mum for the last eight years.

In addition, she claimed the mum forced him to sleep in the bed with her while she was naked "making him play daddy."

"I was tired of living like a slave,'" Rudy said to Quanell after being asked why he ran away.

He was asked about the alleged sexual assault but he did not want to go into specifics after claiming he was forced to "kiss" her while in bed.

Rudy told her: "Let me ask you a question - if your mother is tongue kissing you in the bed with her naked, what the h*** is that? This is sick."

She added: "Based on what that boy told me, I don't see why she's not in handcuffs right now."

It is claimed the mum took Rudy to work with her in the evenings while working as a overnight security guard and kept him hidden in the day.

But now in an interview recorded by neighbours the mum believes she will be arrested, she revealed: "When he first went missing, he didn't report it to the police.

"'And they are trying to say that he might have done some crimes. Which he didn't. And now they want to arrest me. Because they said I was hiding him."

Friends and relatives claim they knew Rudy was not missing including his cousin who told cops in 2018 he was at his mum's house, and his grandmother had spoken to him.

Cassandra Lopez, his cousin, told KPRC 2 they knew "in our hearts" Farias vanishing was not true.

"I was in shock,' she said. 'I was like, I couldn't believe it.

"I mean, I was glad, but I just was wondering what was going to unfold from it. Like, what was the story going to be behind it?

"Because it's just we always in our hearts knew that he wasn't really missing."

Ms Lopez claims she called police in 2018 after her grandmother saw Rudy at his mum's home.

"She would just say, I saw Rudy. You know, he came to check on me and we said hello and we had a little conversation. She never went into detail, but she would say she saw him,' said Ms Lopez.

Neighbours also claimed they had seen him walking around the streets, according to reports.

Police visited the house, but were unable to find the missing child. It remains unclear if cops spoke to any of the family members.

Ms Lopez said the family is desperate to hear from Rudy.

She added: "I mean, half of his life is - almost a quarter of his life - has already been taken away.

"Don't you know that? That's just not right. He didn't deserve, nobody deserves that."

Police are due to hold a press conference later today.
