A man was forced to cut a long weekend away with his partner short because their Butlin's chalet was in an "absolutely awful" condition and there was "mould in the shower" when they arrived.
Chris Whitworth, 51, had organised to stay at the holiday park in Skegness with his partner as they were going to a Ministry of Sound Live Weekends event on November 19.
But Chris claims the pair arrived to their chalet to find stains on the bed sheets and an "unclean smell", reports Nottinghamshire Live.
He described the accommodation as being "absolutely awful" and added that he arrived with his partner to find "no seals on the door".
Chris continued, claiming: "We walked in and you could tell right away this is not clean. You could just tell.

"It didn't smell clean, the carpet was ditched, the carpet in the bedroom was - if you walked barefoot - it was sticky and dirty.
"The duvet cover had got stains on it, it was just bad.
"I just thought okay this is not looking good already.
"Went to the bathroom and there was literally one towel for two people - what the reasons are for that I don't know.
"The shower was mouldy - it clearly hadn't been cleaned.
"You tried to find people but you couldn't find anybody."

Chris - from Chilwell in Nottinghamshire - and his partner spent £360 on the Butlin's mini break. The couple were given £50 back as a goodwill gesture and later offered an upgrade on a future booking, but Chris says he refused the offer.
He added: "It was so bad I didn't even go into other parts of the place. I was so terrified of what I'd seen so far."
Officials at Butlin's have said they did not receive a complaint from Chris until after his stay.
They have been in touch with Chris to discuss the issues that have been raised.
A Butlin’s spokesperson said: “We are sorry to hear about Mr Whitworth’s recent break. Our team on resort were unable to support as we were only made aware once he returned home from his break.
"We would advise all guests to speak to guest services if they have any problems. This way our resort team can look to resolve any issues there and then.
"The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team remains our biggest priority and we’d like to reassure guests that we have strict cleaning and hygiene policies in place.
"We’ve been in contact with Mr Whitworth to discuss the issues raised and have offered a gesture of goodwill.”
