Man ‘forced entry’ just before woman was killed in Bristol house explosion

  • The death of Jo Shaw, 35, in a house explosion in Bristol is being treated as a homicide by police.
  • Her former partner, Ryan Kelly, 41, also died in the blast, which authorities believe was deliberate.
  • Three other people, including a child, sustained minor injuries during the incident.
  • Avon and Somerset Police will refer the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to previously reported domestic-related incidents.
  • Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with Ms Shaw's death and have reassured the public there is no wider risk to safety.
