A man followed a young woman through St Helens town centre and repeatedly made inappropriate comments.
Merseyside Police are investigating after a young woman was followed on Duke Street at around 8.50am on Friday, March 11, by a man making inappropriate comments. The woman was not injured but was left shaken by her ordeal.
Police have now issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to, as they believe he could have vital information to help with their enquiries.

Sergeant Joanne Jacob said: “The young woman was simply going about her business when she was approached by a man who followed her and repeatedly made inappropriate comments. The woman was able to walk away and meet up with her friend but was understandably left upset by the man’s behaviour.
“I would ask anyone who recognises the man or has any information which could assist our investigation to contact us either via DM @MerPolCC or calling 101 or via @CrimestoppersUK anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
