A man aged in his 60s has been air-lifted to hospital in a stable condition several hours after he fell from a roof.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a home at Ourimbah in the early hours of Monday after a report that a 65-year-old man had fallen from a roof on Sunday and his condition had deteriorated through the night.
Air paramedics and the Critical Care Medical Team stabilised the man and took him to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
Meanwhile, in a separate chopper call-out, the Westpac Rescue team flew to Snapper Point on Sunday afternoon following a report that two people were stuck inside a sea cave.
The crew carried out an extensive search but did not find the pair - it was soon discovered they had managed to find their way out.
