A Hamilton man has been fined £750 after hiding a recording device in a woman’s bedroom.
James Hoad, 48, of Woodburn Park, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week.
He admitted threatening or abusive behaviour by installing the device at a house in Larkhall on May 1 last year.
The fine was reduced from £1000 as he pleaded guilty at a pre-trial hearing.
