Man finds mysterious note on his car after returning to find vehicle is damaged

A man was left horrified when he found a threatening note on his window screen after returning to his damaged car.

Adam ‘Smitty’ Smith, a blogger, carefully parked his white Mitsubishi next to an estate car encroaching across the line into the last remaining space in the town of Paoli, near Philadelphia, US, on December 14.

However, when he returned, he was stunned to see damage to his vehicle and a shirty note left on his windscreen from the motorist who took up part of his space.

The scrawled note, which Adam - a blogger and game streamer for Barstool Sports - posted on Twitter, appears to read: “Nice parking job!

“My wife had to get a younger person to climb over the seat to get into the car. Think twice next time.”

The motorist added: “I won’t be this kind.”

Stumped that he was being blamed, Adam took to Twitter to ask his 193,000 followers what they would do in such a situation.

The comedian wrote: “How should one react to a dude taking up two spaces, damaging your car, and then leaving a note blaming your park job?”

His followers were quick to offer their ideas.

One joked: “Walk around to the other side of their car, and kick a big ass dent into their door, or karate chop their side mirror off.”

Another commented: “Don’t park in the spot with a guy taking two spots is the first thought! Lol.”

One more said: “Lol what a f***ing lunatic. I’d call the cops and make them pay for the damage.”

“I [would] zip tie the handle of one of his doors to a shopping cart,” wrote another.

Adam said that the parking incident took place in the town of Paoli, near Philadelphia in Pennsylvania State on December 14.

He added that he is “taking the proper steps through my auto insurance”.

The threatening message just comes weeks after a 'drunk' man threatened a woman on a flight from JFK to Salt Lake City.

Merrill Fackrell, 41, from Utah, was on a JetBlue flight and had a “long and varied” conversation with the woman as her husband watched a film.

Fackrell, who had several alcoholic drinks during the flight, noticed the lady put on headphones as she returned to watching her movie.

He then put his hand over her screen - and demanded she stopped the film.

The US Department of Justice said in a statement: “The woman took off her headphones and realised Fackrell had his hand clutched with what appeared to her as a knife, inches from her skin at her throat/neck area."

The couple were moved away from the man to seats towards the front of the aircraft.

A passenger sat nearby Merill was able to get him to put down his razor.
