The city's car washes usually do a brisk trade, particularly in the summer months as motorists make sure their vehicles are in tip top conditon.
But one man in north Dublin decided to make sure his own pride and joy was in pristine condition by taking his horse to a car wash on Saturday afternoon.
Amused onlookers couldn't help giggling as they watched the man give his steed a good scrub at the car wash at Clarehall Shopping Centre.
It may not have been a flashy motor but there was certainly a lot of horse power on show.
