Man filmed sitting on toilet at Bristol traffic lights

It’s not the sort of thing you see every day...

A man sat on a toilet in the middle of a busy street at traffic lights in Lawrence Hill.

And it seems as if he may be planning to be there for a while, as he took a newspaper with him to read

Perhaps he’s just waiting for the lights to change? They can take a while.

Motorists are seen in the video having to negotiate their way around the man, who dressed in shorts and a T-shirt and is wearing a mask. Obviously.

Some even stopped to talk to him briefly.

The video has been shared across social media with many commenting on the man’s unusual choice of location to answer the call of nature.

Some have described him as a ‘legend’, saying we could all ‘do with a laugh’ at the moment while others have criticised him for compromising road safety.

We would love to find out who the man is - if you are reading this, or know who it is, please get in touch in the comments below
