Man filmed releasing rats on pavement outside Sheffield Grand Mosque

CCTV footage shows Edmund Fowler, 66, releasing rats outside Sheffield Grand Mosque on Grimesthorpe Road.
Fowler repeated this act on three further occasions between May and June, as part of a series of racially motivated hate crimes.
He pleaded guilty to four counts of racially aggravated harassment at Sheffield Magistrates' Court.
On 16 July, Fowler was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months, and banned from approaching any mosque for 18 months.
