Man fighting for life after horror car crash on M90 in Perthshire

A man is fighting for his life after a horror car crash on the M90 in Tayside.

A 28-year-old man is in critical condition at Ninewells Hospital after being seriously injured in the smash near Bridge of Earn.

The incident happened at around 8.35pm last night on the southbound carriageway on the Inverkeithing to Perth motorway and involved a red Peugeot 306.

Police are appealing for any drivers with dashcam footage to come forward.

One lane was closed for around five hours to allow a full crash investigation to be carried out.

Inspector Greg Burns, of Tayside Road Policing, said: "A man has sustained serious injuries and we are appealing to anyone who may have any information relating to this crash.

"The M90 is a busy road and I would ask those who may have dashcam footage of the area to get in contact with officers.

"Police Scotland can be contacted on 101 quoting incident number 2963 of Tuesday, 17 March, 2020."
