Emergency services were called to Harrow Road shortly before 7pm on Monday following reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a bus.

The man, believed to be in his 40s, was rushed to hospital for treatment.

His condition remains critical, Metropolitan Police said in a statement.

Footage of the scene showed the windscreen of a red double-decker completely smashed on one side.
