A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being found with a serious head injury in Darlington.
Detectives are appealing for information in relation to an incident which is believed to have occurred at around 9.30pm on Monday, May 17.
The man was found outside the flats on Park Place and was taken to James Cook University Hospital with serious head injuries.
The 27-year-old remains in a critical condition at this time.
Durham Constabulary has revealed he was found wearing a black jacket with a white Puma logo on the chest.
He was also wearing a long sleeve burgundy top with stripes across the chest underneath, blue jeans and tan shoes.
Officers are now keen to speak to people in the area of the time of the incident or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage.
