A young man has been left fighting for his life after an alleged attack in Glasgow .
The 20-year-old man is currently in critical condition in hospital after he was allegedly stabbed.
Emergency services raced to the scene at Woodend Road in Fernhill, Rutherglen , at around 4.05pm on Tuesday.
He was then taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
A man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “At about 4.05pm, we were called to reports of a 20-year-old man seriously injured on Woodend Road, Rutherglen.
“Emergency services attended and a male was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where staff describe his condition as critical.
“A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and inquiries are ongoing.”
