A man is reportedly in a critical condition in hospital after a 'freak accident' near his home in Co Kerry.
Gerard Curtin, from Brosna, is understood to be fighting for his life after the incident involving a ride-on lawnmower.
The Kerryman reports that Mr Curtin, who is in his 50s, is in intensive care at Cork University Hospital following the incident on April 29.

Gardai have launched an investigation, with a spokesperson saying: "Gardai are investigating an incident that occurred at Knockane, Brosna, County Kerry at approximately 1 pm on Friday, 29th April 2022.
"A man in his 50s was injured during the course of the incident and was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
"Investigations are ongoing."
Prayers have been offered at the local church in Brosna in recent days for the Curtin family during their difficult time.
A special intention Mass last Friday at St Carthage's Church was attended by several members of the local community who offered prayers for Mr Curtin's recovery.
The celebrant told congregants that they were there to make the Curtins "feel like God is with them".
"I want them to know of our love for them," Fr Martin Spillane said.
"Margaret [Gerard's wife] is with Ger at this moment and many of the family are there with him.
"The ones that are here tonight want to say on behalf of Margaret, 'thank you'.
"They really appreciate this, you don't know just how much it means to them to get that much support.
"Thanks for all the cards, thanks for all the prayers, thanks for all the nice things you left to help them, to nourish them.
"We come here tonight because our hearts are struggling with Ger being so sick, and we put ourselves in God's care that we will do the right thing to help, to love, to strengthen, and foster that sense of being in this together."
Well wishes have been pouring in for the Curtin family from members of the local community.
One person said: "We are praying for him Mairead and wishing him a good recovery."
A second commented: "Thinking of you all in these worrying times, having a mass said for Gerard here."
While a third wrote: "Thoughts and prayers with Gerard, Mairead and Family at this difficult time."
