Man fighting for his life after car 'deliberately' drove into a motorbike in Little Hulton

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a car 'deliberately' drove into a motorbike in Salford.

The 20-year-old is suffering from life threatening injuries, police said.

He is being treated at Salford Royal Hospital.

Another man, 23, who was also on the motorbike, was located by officers and treated for minor injuries.

A police investigation has been launched after a blue Fiat Sedici drove at a motorbike in a 'targeted' attack .

The vehicles smashed into Deccans Fuel petrol station on Cleggs Lane in Little Hulton.

The incident happened at 9pm on Saturday.

The driver and occupants of the Fiat made off from the scene on foot.

Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.

Detective Inspector Lee Moriarty from GMP’s Salford borough said: “First of all my thoughts are with the man as he receives treatment in hospital.

“We have launched an investigation and we are currently searching for the driver and occupants of the blue Fiat.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone who saw the collision, and in particular those who may have dash-cam footage.

“Officers will be in the area as we continue our investigation and I would like to encourage anyone with any questions, concerns or information to speak to them.”
