Man fatally stabbed in fight with relative in Back of the Yards

A man was stabbed to death during an argument with a family member Friday in the Back of the Yards on the South Side.

Raul Aguayo, 27, was arguing with a relative at 8:02 p.m. in the 4500 block of South Hermitage Avenue when the fight turned physical, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s offie said. During the struggle, he was stabbed in the chest and abdomen.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Aguayo lived in Back of the Yards.

A 43-year-old man was taken into custody, police said. Area Central detectives are investigating.
