A man was killed in a shooting Wednesday on the South Side near the border of Englewood and Park Manor, police said.

Kawanis Webb, 28, was arguing with four males about 9:30 p.m. in the 6600 block of South State Street when one of them pulled out a gun and fired shots, striking him multiple times, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Webb was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police said the suspects were in a silver-colored SUV.

Area One detectives are investigating.
