A man was fatally shot Wednesday night near the back of a home in Woodlawn on the South Side.
About 7:40 p.m., the 24-year-old was in the 6600 block of South Kenwood Avenue when someone shot him in the arm, Chicago police said.
He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
There is no one in custody.
