Man fatally shot in Gresham home

A 58-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon inside a home in Gresham on the South Side.

About 2:45 p.m., the man was shot in the back while inside a home in the 700 block of West 76th Street, Chicago police said.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he later died, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not yet identified him.
