A 29-year-old man was fatally shot in Gary Wednesday.
Jarell Taylor was in the 3700 block of Madison Street about 9:05 p.m, when he was shot, according to the Lake County Coroner’s office. He was pronounced dead about an hour later.
An autopsy ruled Taylor’s death a homicide, the coroner’s office said.
The circumstances of the shooting remain unknown.
Gary police were not available for comment Thursday morning.
