A 29-year-old man was shot to death Friday afternoon in Gary, Indiana.
About 3:40 p.m., Troy Newsome was shot multiple times in the 4900 block of Jefferson Street and pronounced dead about 30 minutes later, according to the Lake County coroner’s office.
His death was ruled a homicide, the coroner's office said.
Gary police are investigating the incident.
