A man was fatally shot Monday in Gary, Indiana.
Officials were dispatched to the 800 block of County Line Road about 8:45 p.m. and found the man, who remains unidentified, suffering from a gunshot wound, the Lake County coroner’s office said. He was pronounced dead an hour later.
The man’s death has been ruled a homicide, the coroner’s office said.
Details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting were not made available.
Gary police were not available for comment Tuesday morning.
