A 22-year-old man was fatally shot early Sunday in Bridgeport on the South Side, police said.
About 12:50 a.m., he was discovered in a gangway in the 2800 block of South Wallace Street with two gunshot wounds to the abdomen, Chicago police said.
He was transported to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details on the fatality.
There were no witnesses and no one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
