A 27-year-old man was shot and killed Wednesday morning in the West Side Austin neighborhood, according to police.
He was shot in his neck about 11:25 p.m. in the 5800 block of West Superior Street, according to preliminary information from Chicago police.
The man was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details on the death.
