A man has died after falling from the balcony at a block of flats.
The 58-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene in the Westwood area of East Kilbride.
The tragic incident unfolded on Saskatoon Place at 4.30am on Friday and it is believed he fell from the top floor of the building.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but sadly they could not save the man, the East Kilbride News reports.
The area was cordoned off while an investigation was carried out, but police say there are no suspicious circumstances.

A spokesman confirmed: "Emergency services attended the 58-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
